Regenerage Befriending Service is due to restart after Christmas / New Year!

 

This service is available to anyone over the age of 55 who is lonely, isolated and cannot really get out of the house due to long term health problems. At the moment, they have to live in the Preston and South Ribble area or pay council tax to Preston City Council or South Ribble Council.

 

This is a free service.

 

After a home visit assessment, clients / patients are accepted onto the service if suitable and matched with a volunteer who visits the home on a weekly basis offering friendship and support.

 

All of the volunteers are interviewed and DBS checked and then matched with appropriate clients.

 

Clients / patients can make a self-referral via email on the website [email protected] or telephone direct 01772 552850. This is a very easy referral process.
