Patient Information

Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a fault with the 01772 798122 telephone number. We have noticed that when patients are trying to call it is stating that the mailbox is full. We do not have a mailbox therefore this is a fault and we advise patients to continue redialing as we are still receiving phone calls. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.

As a practice we must continue to follow the strict infection, prevention and control measures to limit the risk of the virus to you as patients and to our staff. This means that where possible our staff and clinicians will remotely triage and assess your needs before determining if a face-to-face appointment is required. If your needs can be met safely via the telephone or video consultation then this will take place. If a clinician feels you require a face-to-face appointment then this will be arranged. We have been operating in this way since the start of the pandemic in order to continuing providing all patients with access to our services.

The current pandemic situation is challenging for everyone in different ways and we appreciate that the situation we all find ourselves in can be frustrating sometimes. Unfortunately, a number of our staff have recently experienced foul and abusive language or behaviour from a minority of patients. This is not acceptable and we will not tolerate this sort of behaviour towards our staff - all of whom continue to work tirelessly during this pandemic. In line with our zero tolerance policy, if you are found to be abusive towards members of staff then appropriate action will be taken. You can read the full policy here:

For patients registering with Issa Medical Centre: Please now note that due to us offering an essential Covid-19 vaccine service at the practice, we are having to streamline administration tasks. Patients can collect registration forms any weekday between the hours of 8:30-18:00 and we will ask that once you have completed your forms to contact the surgery on 01772 759330 and you will be advised which day you can return the forms to us as it will need to be on a day when the practice is not administering the Covid-19 vaccine.

Important notice: Please note that the prescription line will close at 1pm until further notice from Monday 16th November due to staffing issues across both sites. Patients will be able to call the prescription line on 01772 237615 Monday - Friday between the hours of 9am-1pm. Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Thank you in advance for your continued support and co-operation.

Please be advised that availability is limited and will be by pre-booked appointment and urgent on the day only. Access may not always be provided at this surgery and you may need to travel to an alternative practice.  If no appointment is available you may be directed to alternative services such as NHS 111.

These appointments will not be available to book online - therefore please speak to a member of our reception staff for further advice.

Covid - 19 Information

We are requesting that any patients who attend the surgery MUST wear a face mask or face covering. This is to ensure the safety of all patients and staff throughout the surgery during this time.

To ensure the safety of patients and staff our practice policy has changed: We are now asking all patients to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before their appointment time so that we can adhere to social distancing throughout the practice. If patient's arrive earlier than this then they will be asked to wait outside. We hope you understand that this is to protect everyone entering the building. Thank you in advance for your continuing support and co-operation.

For the time being we are not offering our extended service until 8pm. Therefore, the building will close each weekday at 6pm and the phone lines will close at 6:30pm.

We have been advised by the Government and the CCG to delay the second Covid-19 vaccination. Once you have had your first vaccine, you will now be contacted by your practice within 12 weeks to arrange a date for your second vaccination.

!! We have been made aware of a scam circulating regarding the Covid-19 vaccinations. The NHS will NEVER ask for your bank details in order to book a vaccine and it will ALWAYS be free of charge for everyone. !!

The practice are in the process of sending out text messages to eligible patients which include a link to book a Covid-19 vaccine - please be assured that this is a legitimate text message. You can click on the link which will lead you to the booking page to pick a time slot to attend for your appointment. However, we will never ask for your bank details or ask for money for the vaccine so if you receive a text / email like this then it is a SCAM - please do not give anyone your bank details!!
