Urgent Appointments
These must be for genuine on the day urgent appointments only.
For any non-urgent matters you will be advised to book a routine appointment as we do not have the capacity to manage non-urgent matters on the same day.

Out of hours
Outside of the opening hours of the surgery, NHS 111 provides cover.
This can be accessed via phone by calling 111, or via NHS111 online
Extended access to GP appointments
Routine appointments are now available on evenings and weekends.
Preston North and East Primary Care Network have increased access to prebookable and on the day routine appointments at evenings and weekends. Limited appointments are available Monday to Friday 1830 to 2000 and Saturdays 0900 to 1700.
Please be advised that availability is limited, access may not always be provided from this surgery and you may need to travel to an alternative practice within our Primary Care Network.
These appointments will not be available to book online, therefore please speak to a member of our reception team for availability.

Home visits
Home visits are available for our housebound patients. Should be requested before 1100. A doctor will be allocated and visits requested will take place after morning surgery.

Online appointments for administrative requests
This has been introduced in an attempt to reduce the call queues on the telephone lines for patients requesting appointments for a Doctors letter, Fit (Sick) Note, Repeat Prescription, Test Results and questions about a referral. Where appropriate we will communicate with you via text message and if this request cannot be dealt with electronically we will advise you via text to arrange an appointment. Cancelling appointments
If you are unable to keep your appointment please telephone the surgery as soon as possible as this enables us to offer your appointment to someone else. Alternatively you can cancel you appointment online using patient access.

If you have continued missed appointments we may take steps to remove you from our list of registered patients, we will always give notice of this in advance.
