Dementia Action Week 2024 is 13th May – 19th May and it’s all about the importance of diagnosis.

 

Each year Alzheimer’s Society runs the annual campaign Dementia Action Week to bring people together across the country to take action on dementia. This year the focus is on the importance of a diagnosis.

 

Diagnosis is vital to give people access to the care, treatment and support they desperately need. Yet, incredibly, 1 in 3 people with dementia do not have a diagnosis.
